Day of Defeat: Source Updates Released

Updates to Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Source Engine Changes (CS:S, DoD:S, TF2, HL2:DM)
  • Fixed an engine crash caused by too many precached models in some community maps. 
    Day of Defeat: Source
    • Fixed an exploit where clients could prevent weapons from recoiling properly.

    This is my first project FINISHED !


    This is my final release of schlosshotel I hope everyone enjoys this release as much or more than rc2 screens below ....
    Changes from rc2 release >


    New redesigned Spawn areas
    detailed entired map & Optimized the entire map to the best of my ability
    Removed some custom models and added a few new ones
    Added more areas to get up on the buildings
    Fixed 99% of model misalignments and texture errors
    added german flags and banners "more detail"
    added a few water puddles
    added custom german march song triggered around center hotel


    Increased FPS 10-15 on my box over all by optimizing map ...

    Day of Defeat: Source Beta Update Released

    Updates to Day of Defeat: Source Beta have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

    Day of Defeat: Source Beta
    • Fix for client crash in spectator gui
    • Fixed third person tracers not drawing properly
    • Reverting view position change when sniper zoomed
    • Added cvars dod_playrivalrysounds and dod_playachievementsound
    • Suicide no longer removes a kill
    • Fixed bullet decals being misaligned when iron sighted
    • Fixed being able to dominate a teammate if friendlyfire was on
    • sv_friction and sv_stopspeed are now accessible again
    • Reduced size of impact effects at distance
    • Fix for deployed bazooka and mg having full mouse sensitivity
    • Fix for iron sight deploy animation sometimes taking longer
    • Player avoidance now prevents stationary players from occupying the same space
    • Some particle systems updated
    • Fixes to the custom map achievement

    Source Engine Update Released

    Updates to the Source Engine have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

    Source Engine
    • Fixed custom level sound lists under sv_pure
    • Fixed occasional scrunched-up columns in the serverbrowser
    • Fixed various memory leaks
    • Fixed a Half-Life 2: Deathmatch bug where a spectator could freeze a live player when mp_forcerespawn was 0
    • Fixed master server queries being truncated if too many players with long names
    • Fixed a Half-Life 2: Deathmatch bug where if you +used a weapon it would not respawn anymore
    • Fixed a Counter-Strike: Source smoke grenade exploit
    • Added a way for server plugins to ask players if they'd like to connect to a different server
    • Made materials handle sv_pure correctly when they've included other materials
    • Fixed Windows dedicated server bug slowing down Steam updates
    • Fixed certain models showing up all white when sv_pure flushed them
    • Made the server print a client's steam ID and show sv_pure warnings if sv_pure_kick_clients is 0
    • Fixed a Linux-only crash when loading certain custom maps
    • Fixed a bug preventing sv_pure CRCs from verifying correctly on certain custom maps
